Teaching Support

Welcome Message

Associates and Faculty are the lynchpins in the teaching and learning environment within the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).

Being experts, you engage, inspire, and enable our students to apply the knowledge and skills that they learn. Recognising that teaching is enriching and at times challenging, the Teaching & Learning Centre (TLC) supports you with a range of professional development dialogues, workshops and resources to develop and deepen your teaching expertise.

Associate Faculty Champion Scheme

Since 2012, schools have been nominating one associate each year to be its Associate Faculty Champion. Working closely with TLC faculty, the AFCs shape and implement their pedagogical inquiry in their courses over the period of a calendar year. The data collected are systematically analysed and evaluated, resulting in concrete recommendations to improve the course delivery and students’ learning. These projects have yielded tangible initiatives and improvements at the course- and programme-level.
